- Research ideas to inspire your new countertop
- Roughly measure the size of your current countertop or have new plans with sizes available
- Research the benefits and downfalls of each surface
- Find out who will be installing the countertop
Our team of countertop experts will come out to your home and make sure every measurement is covered. Depending on the scope of the job, we have the latest digital templating equipment to make sure we get the most precise measurements for a perfect fit.
Once we have final dimensions, colors are chosen and the material is ordered, our skilled fabricators will begin to cut and finish the countertops. We inspect every countertop that goes through our facility, making sure it meets our standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Our expert installers will cover every detail, making sure the homeowners are as happy as possible. Our commitment to quality, excellence, and service is our main priority, and we never leave a job until everyone is satisfied.
Laminate Lead Time
Self-Install: 1-2 weeks depending on colour choice. If you choose a stock colour, our turnaround time could be shorter depending on the size of the countertop.
Install: We typically book laminate installs 4-6 weeks in advance.
Solid Surface/Granite/Quartz Lead Time
Install: 4-6 weeks. To receive the full warranty, all materials listed above must be installed by the Sims Countertops installation team. There are cases where a small counter or vanity top may be installed by someone other than Sims.
Wood Lead Time:
Self-Install: Approximately 2-3 weeks from purchase date.
Install: We typically book wood installs 4-6 weeks in advance.
